Journeyperson Glazier

Our client, a full-service company specializing in glass and aluminum installation and repair, is seeking a full-time Journeyperson Glazier dedicated to exceptional customer service and high integrity.

We are looking for an organized, positive, and efficient team player who can manage a full workload. The ideal candidate will have experience with aluminum, glass, door, and window hardware and a passion for succeeding within the company, with potential opportunities for profit sharing or share ownership. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

As a Journeyperson Glazier, your responsibilities will include:

• Installing glass and aluminum for windows, storefronts, curtainwalls, entrance doors, and skylights.

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing commercial aluminum doors and other glass structures, and replacing damaged glass or faulty sealant.

• Performing site visits to accurately measure windows, doors, frames, and glass.

• Installing railings, partitions/walls, and shower enclosures.

• Accurately and efficiently completing paperwork.

**Compensation:** 

• $32.00 to $38.00 per hour.

**Qualifications and Skills:** 

• Trade certification from a recognized institution.
• Red Seal Trade Certification (an asset).
• Willingness and ability to train and mentor junior staff.
• Capability to lead crews on projects exceeding $200,000.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and specifications, with attention to detail.
• Strong math skills, measuring aptitude, and proficiency with power/hand tools.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Class 5 driver’s license.
• Ability to work at heights and a commitment to safety.
• Willingness to travel for short durations.
• Strong work ethic and long-term commitment to the company.
