Field Service Heavy Agricultural Equipment Mechanic

We have an opportunity for an Agricultural Equipment Technician to work in the Ottawa Valley territory.  This position is right for someone that loves field service and can work for a company as an employee, but perform with a mentality that they are running their own business.  The person we are looking for ideally has experience on heavy AG machines (John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, AGCO, CASE IH, New Holland, or other specialized brands of farm equipment).  We will consider customer oriented candidates with experience on other types of heavy machinery.  You will be based from home and run a service truck.  Strong wage paid hourly. Company provided service vehicle, mobile phone, and computer plus extended benefits and pension.

-3-5 years of heavy duty mechanic experience

-Farm equipment repair, maintenance, troubleshooting experience an asset

-Experience working for a heavy farm and agricultural equipment dealership preferred

-Clean driver’s license and strong preference to someone with road service experience

-Residing in Ottawa Valley and preferably within 1 hour of parts centre in Winchester.
