Service Technician

Location: Greater Vancouver Area
Salary: Competitive hourly rate + Overtime + Comprehensive Benefits

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established industrial equipment company seeking a Service Technician to join its field service team. This is an excellent opportunity for an electromechanical or millwright professional who enjoys troubleshooting, customer interaction, and working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial mechanical equipment at customer sites.
  • Respond to scheduled maintenance and emergency service calls.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Assemble and commission equipment and related systems.
  • Build strong customer relationships while identifying service and maintenance opportunities.
  • Complete service documentation and manage parts used during repairs.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications

  • DEP in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, Millwright certification, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of industrial service or maintenance experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with solid electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the region.
  • Customer-focused with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with industrial fluid, pneumatic, or air systems is considered an asset.
