Overview
Our client is a long standing leader in the manufacturing sector, successfully operating throughout the Western Canadian region for several decades. There is a current need within the Vancouver area plant to bring on an experienced industrial maintenance mechanic/millwright. The successful candidate will be a Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright, and bring a strong knowledge of maintenance and repair of equipment commonly used in plant manufacturing/production practices such as: conveyors, pumps, vacuums, motors, gearboxes, generators, compressors, shafts, and bearings.

Hired candidate will have an outstanding track record of safety and reporting, with a knowledge of relevant BC regulatory requirements.
Must be comfortable working in union environment and be available for rotating shift work.
Company offers $52 per hour plus outstanding benefits and pension plan.
Requirements
-Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright (Industrial Mechanic/Maintenance Mechanic)
-Available for rotating shift work
-Comprehensive experience with minor and major plant equipment repairs and maintenance
-Strong mechanical aptitude
-Team player with ability to add talent, a great attitude, and knowledge to a successful stable company
