Field Service Technician – Bulk Gas Systems
Location: Hamilton / St. Catharines, ON Region
Compensation: $39.05/hr (structured progression schedule) + Overtime & Premium Benefits
Travel: ~15% (Regional ON, occasional cross-provincial)
This is a high-autonomy field position featuring fully company-provided tools, tech, and a take-home service vehicle.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician based in the London or Windsor region to support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of industrial bulk gas supply systems, on-site production units, cryogenic/food freezing equipment, and process piping networks across Southwestern Ontario.This is a high-autonomy field position featuring fully company-provided tools, tech, and a take-home service vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Maintenance & Commissioning: Install, troubleshoot, and service bulk gas systems, piping networks, electronic controls, and instrumentation.
- Mechanical & Mechanical Trades Support: Perform specialized pipefitting, welding, and brazing in accordance with technical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Project Oversight: Coordinate on-site contractors, execute equipment commissioning, and manage work orders using company-issued digital reporting tools.
- Operational Readiness: Complete regular field documentation and participate in an after-hours emergency response rotation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Location: Must reside in or near the Hamilton or St. Catharines, ON area.
- Credentials: Post-secondary trade qualification or Journeyman ticket (Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration, Welding, or related industrial trade).
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on industrial field service experience (cryogenic, atmospheric, or compressed gas system experience preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading complex schematics/blueprints, operating MS Office (Excel), and executing diagnostic troubleshooting independently.
- Physical & Logistics: Valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, comfortable working outdoors, and open to flexible scheduling/overtime as required.
