We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for an exciting full-time role with our client in Port Edwards, Wisconsin.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for developing new concepts to increase production efficiency within a chemical manufacturing environment. Key deliverables include process safety, operations efficiency, product quality, environmental control, cost management, and project leadership through from concept to completion.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Plan and implement CAPEX and Maintenance Projects
-Equipment and materials specification for plant processes (with plant reliability as a focus)
-Bids/cost estimates for new projects and materials
-Materials sourcing and procurement
-Oversight of installation and commissioning of equipment
-Evaluate alternatives for cost, process and operational improvements
-Identify and implement proactive, predictive and preventative maintenance programs
-Monitor equipment reliability to determine optimum life through PM’s
Qualified applicants will present a relevant degree in Engineering, strong manufacturing experience, knowledge and experience with Lean, Six Sigma as they relate to continuous improvement. Requirements
-Degree in Engineering – mechanical or chemical engineering degree, preferred with continuous manufacturing process experience
-Lean, Six-Sigma (Continuous Improvement) experience
-Minimum 2-5 years of related experience
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Legally entitled to work in the US
