Licensed Gas Technician (Regina, SK)

Our client is looking for a licensed Gas Technician to service commercial cooking equipment for their clients in the region.

Competitive hourly wage plus premiums based on your experience and certifications.  

You will be paid for your travel and fuel as well as additional premiums for on-call rotations (usually every 3 weeks) and overtime when needed.

You will be provided with a service vehicle, cellphone, tablet and laptop

Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm and you are able to go directly from your home to your service call outs as directed by the dispatcher as early as the day before.

Your average day will consist of you being dispatched to clients in the region and installing/diagnosing/repairing and or providing preventive maintenance on commercial cooking and retail equipment. 

You must be well organized and strive autonomously to manage your time and efficiency on these jobs accordingly.  You will also have excellent communication skills and be customer service oriented to be able to speak to clients and walk them through issues and problems and provide recommendations and resolutions as well as  tutorials on equipment when necessary.  You will also need to complete work orders and submit them to your superiors at the end of each day. 

-Gas certificate/license 

-Minimum 2-3 years experience working as a licensed gas technician

-Knowledge and experience reading blueprints and drawings/schematics

-Mechanical and electrical aptitude 

-Experience with washware and or working on commercial cooking equipment an asset 

-Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record

-Consent to a criminal background check upon successful interview process 

-Valid passport and ability to travel to the US for training 

-Legally entitled to work in Canada with Canadian work experience
