Our client is a key player in the heavy equipment industry with particular specialization servicing customers in the farm and agriculture sector. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is excited about a hybrid role who will be hands-on with the tools, but also lead a team of technicians as service manager/team lead and grow the business.
The ideal candidate is someone who is a specialist in combines and applications and has worked for a heavy equipment dealer or who has a level of training and knowledge on farm and Ag machines.
Monday-Friday shifts with on-call rotations every 3-4 weeks and half days on Saturdays during peak season time of year. Occasional evenings may be on the schedule if needed.

What You’ll Do:
-Hybrid role operating as a service technician and as the manager leading a team of 2-4 technicians
-Work with upper management to develop budgets for sales, profitability and expenses
-Driving sales and customer service
-Management of your team and on top of productivity and performance (weekly/quarterly meetings and people development), adherence to health and safety policies and promote daily responsibilities and accountability

-3-5 years of heavy duty mechanic experience
-Agricultural equipment experience doing technical repairs and maintenance
-Previous management experience and ability to lead
-Budgeting and financial acumen
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
-Post secondary education in Agriculture, Business or a related field an asset
