Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced, self sufficient, senior level Agricultural Equipment Technician in the Barrie, Ontario area. This position is right for someone that loves the farming sector and loves providing quality repairs of machinery to farm customers. The person we are looking for ideally has strong aptitude in combines and tractors.
We would like to find a candidate who has experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy AG machines such as John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, CASE IH, New Holland, or other similar brands of farm equipment. You will work as an Agricultural Equipment Technician and have the opportunity for field or shop work.
Compensation is ranged from $35-$40 per hour based on experience.

Requirements
-5 plus years of heavy duty mechanic experience
-Experience with repair, maintenance, troubleshooting of combines and tractors is preferred.
-Experience working for a heavy farm and agricultural equipment dealership or a larger commercial farm is an asset
-Clean driver’s license
-Available to relocate to Ontario if not already a resident
-Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
