Commercial Door Service Technician (Mon to Fri/Dayshift)

Our client is seeking a Commercial Door Service Technician to join their team servicing commercial clientele in the Greater Vancouver area. 

The ideal candidate will have industrial working experience with a millwright/mechanical, electrical or welding background and or knowledge and experience working in the industrial or commercial door service or installation space.  No ticket required. 

This is a full time field service position, Monday to Friday, day shift with OT available.  You will be provided with a company service vehicle.

Not every day will look the same, but a general overview of what you can expect is you will be driving from your home to service call outs and other quoted projects and be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing and or installing commercial doors and or components.  You will be expected to complete work orders and paper work accordingly and communicate with your supervisor and headquarters. 

-3-4 years minimum experience working in an industrial environment

-Skilled trade background in millwright/mechanical, electrical or welding (no ticket required)

-Previous experience working in commercial or industrial door service or install an asset 

-Customer service oriented 

-Excellent time management skills

-Safety minded 

-Good computer skills and able to upload and complete paperwork electronically

-Valid driver’s license and a clean driving abstract 

-Legally entitled to work in Canada
